God's love...

What does the Bible say ?

The Bible reveals the Eternel God who has created all things, physical matter and energy as well as invisible reality such as life, love, knowledge and the human spirit.

"All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.  In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men."

John 1v3-4 NASB

Although unlimited by time and space, all powerful, all knowing and all good, the one true Eternal God created humans to have a personal relationship with Him.  He created one single human race all in the image of God.

"God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."

Genesis 1v27 NASB

You are precious in His sight, but we have all come short of His image because of sin.  The Bible makes this abundantly clear from its first book Genesis to its last Revelation.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Romans 3v23 NASB

Despite our sin and the awful mess we have made of the world, God will never change His love for you and me.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

John 3v16 NASB

The Eternel Son of God who became the Son of man at his incarnation by His birth is our Savior.  As God and man He has paid the price, taking the just punishment for our sin.  His death and ressurection is the Good News that we can be reconciled to our Creator.

"Now I make known to you, brethren, the Gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures."

1 Corinthians 15v1-4 NASB
